Who We Are

River of Life Philadelphia is a non-denominational church whose doctrine is dedicated to the historical truths of the protestant church as energized by the ongoing Pentecostal/Charismatic/3rd Wave revival of the 20th and (now) into the 21st century.  The ministry is a charter member of the Apostolic Network of Global Awakening (Randy Clark) headquartered in Mechanicsburg, PA.   This network of churches and ministries was formed in order to better facilitate the revelation to the Apostle Paul regarding the purpose of the five-fold ministries in Ephesians 4:11-13.

We do not have a strict order of worship, but our meetings typically involve:

  • Exuberant Praise and worship
  • Corporate prayer and prayer for individuals
  • Testimonies
  • Opportunity to give tithes and offerings
  • Preaching/teaching
  • Fellowship

Our Pastors

John & Gayle Brzozowski, Pastors

Picture

John & Gayle Brzozowski served and pastored in their home church in suburban/rural New Jersey for more
than 20 years.  In 2001, Gayle asked God what he was going to give her for her birthday. God said “a missions trip”.
Initially hesitant, that initial trip to Brazil led to over a dozen short term missions, serving in prayer team ministry for
healing and deliverance in evangelistic/healing crusades, pastors training and women’s ministry in Brazil,
Costa Rica, Ukraine, India, and China.

God abruptly transferred” them to Philadelphia in 2008.  In 2009, a servant of God graciously "transferred the torch" and donated the building in the Kensington area of northeast Philadelphia.   They want the transforming power of the Kingdom of God demonstrated in Kensington and throughout the Philadelphia area. We also have a passion to share the things that God  has given to us to help the Church continue to grow in the anointing and to equip the saints for ministry.

Rev. Felix Pinero, Elder

Felix Pinero faithfully serves the church, especially those of Spanish background in numerous ways. He models the willingness to serve and openness to the work of the Holy Spirit in his life and in the life of the church
